What it is
Fall Flavors of Ontario’s Lake Country is a bi-annual event held in Orilla and surrounding communities. This year’s festivities began on Friday, October 24th, and will continue through Sunday, November 9th. The event features independent restaurants only. For the amazing price of $20 or $30, you can receive a delicious three-course meal featuring locally sourced food at a participating eatery.
Where to go
Many, many restaurants opt to be involved in this event, some of which are located quite close to our Orillia apartment locations. For example, the wine and martini bistro, Grape & Olive (400 Memorial Avenue), is a four-minute drive or around a twenty-minute walk from Noble Towers. Brewery Bay Food Co. (117 Mississauga Street East) is less than a nine-minute drive from the Executive Streets (118 Creighton Street). These are only two of many premiere restaurants involved in this mouthwatering event. Did you know that you could also win prizes as a part of Fall Flavors of Ontario’s Lake Country? Listen to the radio station Sunshine 89 every morning with hosts Tony and Jim to possibly win a dinner for two from one of the participating restaurants. There is also an opportunity to enter a draw for a two-person meal after you have eaten at a listed eatery.
